All of our Nama Studio prints are designed to be personalised for you or a loved one.

ARTWORK
Choose from over 60 artwork options on the shop page. At the bottom of the product listings you will also find the option for a custom artwork to be created just for you.
SIZE AND FRAMING
NEW to Nama Studio: We are excited to now offer framing!
From the dropdown menu you can select from four options: an A4 print only, an A3 print only, an A4 print in an A3 frame with surrounding matboard, or an A3 print in an A3 frame without matboard.
Print only dimensions are as follows: A4 – 297mm x 210mm & A3 – 420mm x 297mm. Framed dimensions will be approximately: 440mm x 320mm, including an approximate 10mm timber frame.
Examples of the frame style can be seen here. They are made from solid natural timber with high grade acrylic glass for safe shipping. The exact frame may vary slightly from time to time due to availability. If this is a concern for you, such as needing to match an earlier order, please get in touch ahead of ordering and we will do our best to assist.
Framing is done in house with ready-made timber frames, giving you the convenience of skipping this step yourself.
NAME/HEADING
Nama Studio name prints are customisable for ANY name!
Select which heading font you would like – either all capital serif, all lower case serif or sentence case handwritten.
Next, type in the name or heading of your choice – you may choose up to two names. We recommend using either a first name or a first name and middle name together. Alternatively, the heading chosen may also be something other than a name – i.e. mum, sister, my love, etc.
Lastly, make sure you also include any punctuation you may wish to use when typing in your name or heading – i.e. hyphens or full stops.
SUBTITLE
Choosing to add a subtitle is optional. Some ideas for subtitles include birthdays, birth details, nicknames etc.
Make sure to type the text exactly as you want it to appear on the print – for example a birth date as 18.05.21 or 18th March, 2021.
TEXT
The written text on your Nama print will be in a set font and size, as per the photo examples. But how it is written has three options:
Option one – you can leave this section entirely up to us. We will research the name(s) given and write a description detailing the origins/meanings of the name(s) and how they translate to potential characteristics/meanings of the person the print is for.
Option two – you may write this area completely yourself in the text box provided. You may choose to write a personal message to someone or you may just wish to write the origins/meanings/characteristics yourself if you would like to have complete control over them.
Option three – you may like to choose a collaborative approach. In this case, we will still research the name(s) and write the text detailing the origins/meanings/characteristics. However, you may include notes in the text box for anything you would specifically like to included or excluded. If you wish, you may also include any message(s) you would like us to incorporate.
Please note: if you choose option one, you are giving permission for us to write the information as we see best fit, prints can not be redone or returned if this does not fit your expectations. Choosing option three is a good idea to give us more guidance and we will do our best to follow any notes provided. However, as there is a still an area of interpretation, so these prints are still not able to be redone or returned if this does not fit your expectations. If you are worried or concerned about the text being written, we recommend choosing option two so that you know exactly what you’re getting.
Please also note: drafts of the text are only provided upon request. If you would like to review a draft, please note this in the text box.
TEXT PRONOUN
Please select one of the pronoun options form the menu. This will be used in writing and describing the meanings/characteristics of the person the print is for.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Your print will be printed on beautiful 260 gsm premium, textured, archival fine art paper. Whilst the artworks are original paintings, the print you receive is a digitised, printed copy with your customised details added.
The layout of your print is not customisable, we will space your chosen artwork, headings, and text in the Nama Studio style. You can see examples of our layout aesthetic throughout our existing product images.
Your print will also include a small, neutral coloured Nama Studio logo towards the bottom of the page. This cannot be customised and can again be seen throughout our product photos.
All prints are made to order and ship once per month. Each calendar month’s orders will be dispatched early the following month (unless, of course, you selected to to add a rush fee to your order).
